Music is truly called the melody of life. Even for people who are not associated with music, this seems to be a wonderful way to relax and leave all your worries behind. So it can be well imagined what role music would play in the life of singers and songwriters. They seem to live and breathe music. One such fine example is the Polish musician Kapri who is known for singing lead vocals in the pop-punk band Side Effect. Her hunger for music took her to the exciting world of LA wowing audiences with her stage performances. It wouldn’t be a surprise to hear that this talented musician knew right from her early childhood days that singing was what she wanted to do.

On seeing her love for music and keenness to perform she was put into vocal classes and further into music school by her mother. The list of inspirations of this versatile musician is endless and it includes names like Guns n’ Roses, Spice Girls, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, P.O.D., Queen, and Nirvana. Pop-punk music began to inspire this amazing musician after her graduation and is hugely inspired by Sum-41, Blink-182, Green Day, Sugarcult, Less Than Jake and more. She is also greatly inspired by Butch Walker.

When it comes to writing music, Kapri writes all types of genres but pop-punk is where her heart lies and something that makes her most comfortable. That is the reason for the band Side Effect. So who are the members of this sensational band? Well there is Kapri Dabrowska (vocals), Hisako Ozawa and Jimmy Luther (guitars), Jim Shaw on bass and John McLucas on drums. This five piece pop-punk band are doing big things in LA and are astounding audiences all over with their electrifying performances. So if pop-punk music is your taste then this band will have you rocking!

One of Kapri’s favorite performances was the Battle of the Bands for Rock on the Rage semi-finals. This peppy musician believes in team work, understands the demands of the music industry and is all geared up for so many more exciting performances through her hard work and determination.

Australia’s Stacey Kenealy

Stacey Kenealy is an Australian dancer, model, presenter and actress who started dancing at the tender age of four. She has had some amazing experience in television, films, commercials, stage and theatre and of course fashion and modeling. Her television works include ‘X factor’, ‘Hey Hey it’s Saturday’, ‘Sunrise’, Moulin Rouge- Paris, Astra Awards, and so on. Her work in films covers Dance Academy- Season 2 and Australian film ‘Goddess’ directed by Mark Lamprell . Stacey has appeared for big brands such as Diesel, Nike, Australia’s Next Top model, Coca Cola, Rebel Sport, Adidas, Supre, Redken, V8 Super Car, Westfield, Tony and Guy, GHD, Lorna Jane and many more. She is the presently the face of Lipton Ice Tea and can be seen in David Jones’ AW14 Brand Book.

She is highly passionate about her work and after gaining a decade of experience, this talented performer now successfully crosses over the worlds of dancing, modeling and acting.

She has trained intensely in all dance styles like dance; Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Classical and Acrobatics. As for acting, she has done a number of short courses including  NIDA, under the direction of renowned Australian acting coach Sandra Lee Patterson. Her personal favorite role is when she performed in Paris and toured internationally with The Moulin Rouge.  She has also danced with Ricky Martin and Jessica Mauboy at the Australian NRL grand final 2013, The X Factor and recently completed shooting for the David Jones’ Autumn/Winter Brand book, and being the face of Lipton Ice Tea for their Australian and New Zealand campaign.

Stacey got first taste of the professional world at the age of 12 when she booked her first international gig performing in a children’s show produced by Millennium Entertainment in Dubai. This made her realize how she could make a career out of entertaining while traveling at the same time. After graduating high school, she toured in a commercial dance contract performing in Singapore and Malaysia, completing her first stage production contract in Australia, and secured a contract in Paris to perform in The Moulin Rouge.

If we were to mention her biggest inspiration then it has to be Jennifer Lopez. Stacey truly admires Jennifer Lopez and following her career and seeing her successful business ventures inspires this talented performer to find her own success in various facets of the industry.

Stacey is a qualified personal trainer and lives a vibrant and healthy lifestyle. This brilliant performer has worked around the world in places like Paris, Italy, Belgium, Thailand, Singapore, The Philippines, Malta, Moscow and Malaysia, to name some, but she is currently based in Sydney, Australia.  One of her most recent projects was in Europe, where she performed alongside Australian R&B and Pop artist Jessica Mauboy. They were representing Australia and the Gold Coast in the 2014 Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony.

She has appeared in television commercials for brands like Australia’s Next Top Model, Coca Cola, So You Think You Can Dance, Korean Exchange Bank and Toyota. As for the future, she plans to continue working and broadening her depth of work in Australia. Her career ambitions are to move to the USA and to work among the best in the industry. She would love to perform with world-class artists, and to pursue more television and film.
